Speaker Bio

Debbie Beeler is a litigation paralegal with more than 25 years of experience with products liability defense, medical malpractice defense and intellectual property litigation. She spent 6+ years with a corporate in-house discovery team where the focus was in eDiscovery. In addition to document collection (paper and electronic) and review, Debbie was on the front lines of testing and recommending forensic electronic document collection tools, subsequently training the in-house team on and implementing the use of the tools. Currently, her responsibilities include interviewing corporate custodians for discovery of relevant documents for ongoing patent litigation and subpoena matters, coordinating with eDiscovery vendors for proper handling of company documents and serves as liaison between corporate custodians and outside counsel.

Debbie received her paralegal certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2000 and an Advanced Certification in Discovery in 2012. Debbie also serves as Assistant Chapter Director of Women in eDiscovery – Seattle Chapter.
